Verse 1

 If C Jesus  kindly  say,
 And C with a whispering word,
 "ArG ise my love and come away,"
 I F run  to G meet  my C Lord.

Verse 2

 My C soul  is  in  my  ears;
 My C heart  is  all  on  flame;
 My G eyes are sweetly drowned in tears,
 And F melted G is my C frame.

Chorus

 My raptured F soul will rise up,
 And give a cheerful C spring,
 And dart through F all the lofty skies,
 To  visit  Zion's G King.
 To F visit G Zion's C King.

Verse 3

 He C meets me with a kiss,
 And C with  a  smiling  face;
 I G taste the dear, enchanting bliss,
 And F wonder G at his C grace.

Verse 4

 A C soft and tender sigh,
 Now C heaves  my  hollowed  breast;
 I G long to lay me down and die,
 And F find etG ernal C rest.
